Who can use this service?
We will answer questions for any patron with a valid Portage District Library card. Please have your card handy to give us your number in case we ask. Note that due to copyright law, we will not be able to send full text articles from our subscription databases.
What kind of questions can I ask?
We will attempt to answer all of your questions. In order to answer your questions fully, you may be asked to email the librarian.
Will I need to wait to chat with the librarian?
Patrons at the Information Desk have priority over IM patrons. IM patrons are taken in a first-come-first-served order. Alternatively, you may always email a librarian or visit the Reference Desk for assistance.
