Endowment Fund The Portage District Library is pleased to announce its Children's Endowment Fund within The Kalamazoo Community Foundation. Charitable gifts from citzens are invested by the Foundation to build permanent endowment funds, the income from which will meet the needs of our children in the community now and in the future. These gifts provide donors with significant financial advantages, tax savings and public recognition. Our goal is to build and manage a permanent Children's Endowment Fund to provide annual earnings that improve the quality of the Youth services in the Portage Community and surrounding region.
