Civil War Reenactment 2008

Come watch history unfold before your eyes as the Portage District Library, in conjunction with the City of Portage, present the “Celery Flats Civil War Reenactment” to be held at the Celery Flats Historical Area on Saturday, June 20th and Sunday, June 21st, 2008. Walk through the camps of both the Union and Confederate soldiers. Meet and talk with historic figures from the 1860’s including civilians who have been displaced by the war. Tour the various period structures of the village and witness the dramatic Civil War skirmish between the soldiers of the North and the soldiers of the South.

Tickets will be available through the City of Portage Parks Department.

When:

Saturday, June 20th, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.
Sunday, June 21st, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Portage Celery Flats Historical Area

Cost for the event is:

One Day Pass
Adult-$10.00
Children 14 and under and Seniors $5.00

Two Day Pass
Adult-$15.00
Children 14 and under and Seniors $7.00

Family Pass
Includes 2 Adults and 3 Children
One Day-$25.00
Two Days-$30.00
