Hunger Games (Book Review)

Suzanne Collins’ book NEVER sits on the shelf, and there’s a reason! Each year, 2 people between the ages of 12 and 18 are selected from each of the outlying districts to battle to the death in the Hunger Games. The lone survivor lives the rest of their lives in comfort, but only one will emerge from the arena. 16 year-old Katniss competes with very little hope of winning. As she struggles to fend off the attacks of her fellow competitors and form cautious alliances, she must decide what she is capable of doing to win.
