EBSCO LearningExpress is an interactive collection of self-paced online courses and practice tests including the GED; college and graduate school entrance tests such as the ACT, SAT, GRE, LSAT, MCAT GMAT; and professional and or licensing tests from the CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) to the ASVAB, to nursing and real estate. Although Michigan achievement tests, such as the MEAP are not included, reviews geared toward other states’ tests at similar grade levels may be useful preparation tools. This resource also has computer skills courses and tutorials, sections on verbal and mathematical skills building, and hundreds of online PDF titles. This is an extensive set of online reference books available to you from home from any computer with your library card. It includes multiple encyclopedias of different types, biographies, directories, and other types of reference materials for all ages. There is a base collection of works purchased by MeL which has been augmented by additional titles purchased by the Portage District Library.
