Community Meeting Room Rental Reservation

Contact our Meeting Room Coordinator, Kathy Morris at (269)585-8703 Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm to check on availability of space for the date and time of your meeting. Rooms must be booked in advance; same day rentals are generally not available.

Rooms can be rented in two-hour blocks Monday through Thursday, 9am-8:30pm; Friday, 9am-5:30pm; Saturday, 9am-4:30pm.  Community meeting rooms are not available to rent on Sundays. For more information, see room descriptions, capacity, and rental rates below.

Our Meeting Room Coordinator will provide a rental application and a copy of our policy to the renter. The signed rental application that includes a waiver of liability, along with full payment of the rental fee, must be received prior to the start of the rental period. The community meeting room renter is expected to read and understand the limitations of the Community Meeting Room Policy and rules. If you need to cancel a reservation, please provide the Library with 24 hours’ notice.

Rooms and Rental Rates

Room rental prices are on a two-tier system.  Residents of the Portage District Library service area, resident business members, and paying non-resident library card members receive Tier 1 pricing. An individual or group who resides outside of the Portage District Library service area receives Tier 2 pricing.

Classroom style seating arrangements are a combination of tables and chairs. Theater style seating is chairs only.  If you choose to have a seated panel at the head of the room instead of utilizing a lectern you will have less theater seating space available than the capacity listed.
