PDL’s Makerspace is equipped with the HP DesignJet T650 Large Format Printer. While this printer offers great quality, it does not have the speed of commercial printing operations. A single large color print may take an hour or more. We are not equipped to run a high volume of prints.

How to get started:
You may design your poster by making a reservation to use a Creation Station computer prior to your appointment or bring your poster design on a USB ready to print. A PDF file is the easiest way to print your poster. Make sure your PDF file is saved with the exact dimensions you require.
For a quality print, you will need a minimum of 300 dpi, and a higher DPI if you are printing a very large poster. The higher the DPI, the better quality your print will be.

Paper Size/Options
We have three types of paper available. Standard matte paper and heavyweight coated bond paper are available in widths of 24 inches or 36 inches. Photo glossy paper is also available, but only in a width of 24 inches.
Pricing is determined by the length and type of paper chosen. See price list below.
Printing is in full CMYK color.
