Smart Cutting Machines

What will you make today?

Green – This device can be used without supervision for DIY projects.

The Cricut Maker 3 allows you to create DIY projects with precision. It can be used to cut out fabric patterns or create vinyl decals, and can cut through a wide array of other materials.

Using the Smart Cutter

You can drop in to use one of our two Cricut Makers, but reservations are strongly recommended.

Before your initial visit, if you have never used a Cricut Maker before, please drop by during our Staffed Drop-In hours or schedule a One-on-One appointment for a brief orientation on the machine. To schedule a One-on-One appointment, please email Jane Fleming at

Use of the Cricut Maker is free. Patrons are encouraged to bring their own supplies. Materials can be purchased on Amazon, most big box stores, local craft stores and online craft stores such as Swing Design, Expressions Vinyl, and many more. Orocal and Siser ( for heat transfer vinyl, HTV) are reliable brands as well.
