Our Equipment
PDL’s Makerspace is equipped with the Xtool F1Ultr 3D engraver.
RED: Due to the complexity of this tool, it can only be used during Makerspace Staffed Hours.
You can make an endless variety of useful, beautiful, and practical things from many different materials such as metal, wood, leather, cork, and much more.
We highly recommend bringing a test piece of your material with you when you come to use the laser engraver.
Patrons cannot use the F1 Ultra without Library Staff present.
NOTE: Please plan on using the F1 Ultra during our Staffed Hours which are listed our events calendar. You can email createandmake@portagelibrary.info if you have any questions.
